It seems every now and again, there's a new take/version on keto dieting and it makes the diet blow up and become a 'trend'. What is a keto diet?
Loved by celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Keto dieting is a way of cutting back on your carbs and increasing your protein intake. When you reduce your intake of carbohydrate, your body naturally produces ketones. These ketones are used as our energy and when we produce ketones we are known to be in a state called Ketosis.

What would I eat to be in ketosis/for the keto diet?
On a keto diet plan, slimmers would generally be eating less carbohydrtae and more protein. So think foods such as meat, fish, eggs, greens and dairy. They would try to avoid foods such as pastas, breads, rich sauces, alcohol, confectionery. Generally refined carbs, sugars (whether it be found in fruits or confectionery) are banned or limited.
